Out-of-Pocket Allowance. While you are in hospital, other insured family members or travelling companions remaining with you will be reimbursed up to $3,000 for reasonable living expenses.
Family Transportation. Upon written recommendation of your attending physician, Allianz Global Assistance will pay up to $3,000 to bring a family member or close friend to your bedside.
Return of Family Member. Pays up to $3,000 to return one insured accompanying family member home if you have been returned to Canada by air ambulance.
Escort of Insured Children. Allianz Global Assistance returns your children (up to age 18) home when you have been air evacuated back to Canada.
Return of Vehicle or Watercraft. If you are disabled due to a covered Injury or sickness and cannot drive the vehicle, used for the journey, Allianz Global Assistance will arrange and pay up to $4,000 to return the vehicle to you. If you are air evacuated, you can return to the location you were transported from.
Return of Accompanying Dog or Cat. Pays up to $300 reimbursement in the event an Insured is hospitalized due to a covered risk for the cost of returning the Insured’s accompanying dog or cat to Canada when necessary.
Return of Deceased. In the event of death due to a covered injury or sickness, reimbursement of up to
$15,000 is provided for the homeward carriage of the body or up to $4,000 for the cremation or burial at the place of death.
Accidental Dental. Up to $4,000 is payable for repair or replacement of whole or sound natural teeth caused by an accidental blow to the face.
Dental Emergencies. Benefits will he paid up to $500 for the immediate relief of acute dental pain caused by other than a blow to the face.
Air Ambulance. If assessed as medically transportable, Allianz Global Assistance will arrange for emergency air ambulance to a hospital in Canada or the nearest hospital.
